Current Medallia Superbike rider and fan favorite Max Flinders–one of the “OG’s” of the MotoAmerica series–has signed with Mad Monkey Motorsports, where he will compete for the team aboard an Indian Challenger in the 2023 Mission King Of The Baggers Championship. Flinders will do double duty in 2023, as he will also continue to compete for Trashed Bike Racing aboard his trademark yellow-liveried number 88 Yamaha YZF-R1 in the 2023 Medallia Superbike Championship.

Branon White, owner of Mad Monkey Motorsports, which is based in Clemmons, North Carolina, had one of his Indian Challenger racebikes on display in the MotoAmerica booth at the 2023 NVP Product Expo Presented By Parts Unlimited and Drag Specialties in Louisville, Kentucky, over the past weekend. We caught up with White and asked him for a comment about signing Flinders to his team.

“I felt Max was an excellent fit for Mad Monkey Motorsports,” White said. “We are also a small privateer team, and he is a ‘custom’ too. But, with his experience, I feel we can be very successful.”

Flinders commented, “I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity to show off what I can do on a Bagger alongside my R1. I can’t wait to fight the Harleys on the Mad Monkey Motorsports Indian Challenger! This is going to be a busy, but awesome, year! Thanks to everyone who helped put this together.”

In just over a month, Flinders will make his debut aboard the Mad Monkey Motorsports Indian Challenger when he competes in the opening round of the 2023 Mission King Of The Baggers Championship on March 9-11 at Daytona International Speedway.
