Three-time AMA Superbike Champion Ben Spies is back in the AMA/MotoAmerica paddock. He is the Team Principal for Rahal Ducati Moto squad, and he has three Supersport riders under his charge: PJ Jacobsen, Corey Alexander, and Kayla Yaakov. As expected, Spies was a very busy man during the team’s first MotoAmerica race weekend, especially since his team was making their debut on the biggest U.S. motorcycle road racing stage of all: in the Daytona 200 at Daytona International Speedway.
Spies took the time to talk with us nonetheless, and he gave us his insights about his management role with Rahal Ducati Moto, his three riders, and being back at the World Center of Racing.
