Road America, Elkhart Lake, WI
In the early 1950’s, sports car races were being run on the streets in and around Elkhart Lake. When the state legislature banned racing on public roads, a man named Clif Tufte organized a group of influential local citizens and leaders of the Chicago Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). This group developed plans and sold stock to build a permanent racecourse. The overall vision of Road America grew out of the dreams of Tufte, a highway engineer, who chose 525 acres of Wisconsin farmland outside the Village of Elkhart Lake for the track.
Tufte’s dream became a reality in April 1955. The natural topography of the glacial Kettle Moraine area was utilized for the track, sweeping around rolling hills and plunging through ravines. Road America is located midway between Milwaukee and Green Bay in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The legendary 4.048-mile, 14-turn road course has challenged the world’s best racers for over six decadess. The 640-acre, park-like grounds offer amazing viewing opportunities, fantastic concessions, and lots of high-speed excitement.
EVENT OVERVIEW
How about 190 mph Superbikes and some family fun? The MotoAmerica Superbikes and Vintage MotoFest at Road America is coming May 29 – May 31, 2026. Enjoy qualifying on Friday and all-day racing Saturday & Sunday. Five classes of road racing will compete, including Quad Lock Superbike, Supersport, Mission King Of The Baggers, Twins Cup and Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. Meet the riders in our open race paddock. Camping and VIP packages available. Saturday features the Vintage MotoFest, which includes a ride-in bike show and competition, craft beer tasting, live bands, and stunt shows. Children 16 years old and younger receive free general admission at the gate with a paying adult.

3-Day Camping
Camping + 190 mph Superbikes = Awesome. Get a camping spot for you and your buddies while they last at the MotoAmerica Superbikes and Vintage MotoFest at Road America May 29 – May 31, 2026. Check in early and enjoy Friday qualifying and all-day racing Sat & Sun! RV check-in begins Friday at 7:00am. Camping spots range from tent locations all the way up to reserved RV spaces with power. Meet the riders in our open race paddock! Come for the racing and stay for the weekend. Enjoy a truly unique motorsport experience. The track offers camping at several locations around the circuit. Restrooms and showers are conveniently located to campsites.
Salute To Cycles Touring
Grab your bike, helmet, and experience what it is like to ride on the racetrack! With the Salute to Cycles Touring package, you will be able to just that. You will receive a minimum of one lap around the track and additional laps if time and conditions permit. The Salute to Cycles Touring will be escorted, and helmets are required. You must be 16 years old or older to participate. Staging for the Salute to Cycles Touring will be at the designated motorcycle parking area. Please be ready to go in the staging area on Sunday 30 minutes prior. A waiver needs to be completed beforehand.

Dunlop ECSTAR Suzuki Two-Seat Superbike Experience
Ride with a professional Superbike racer at speeds up to 150 mph! The Dunlop ECSTAR Suzuki Two-Seat Superbike program delivers a once-in-a-lifetime on-track experience, operated by the Team Hammer race team, who provides all necessary gear — helmet, race suit, boots, gloves — along with pre-ride training. All proceeds benefit the Roadracing World Action Fund, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to improving racetrack safety with life-saving soft barriers.
