Twelve-year-old Rossi Moor will race for the ForzaGP team in the 2020 MotoAmerica Mini Cup by Motul Series.

The following is from ForzaGP...

ForzaGP is proud to announce their support and full sponsorship of outstanding talent, and 2019 Ohvale Talent Cup winner Rossi Moor for the 2020 MotoAmerica Ohvale Mini Cup by Motul. Rossi Moor will race for the ForzaGP Snipers Junior Team in the 160cc and 190cc categories on ForzaGP prepared Ohvale GP-0s. The ForzaGP Snipers Junior Team will also field American, Eli Banish, and Hungarian racer Kevin Farkas.

Born and raised in Tualatin, Oregon, Rossi has shown natural talent on road race bikes from a very early age. In 2016 he caught the attention of MotoGP scout and manager, Stefano Favaro, an early supporter of Johann Zarco and manager of Gabor Talmacsi, and has been working with him ever since. Since 2018, Rossi has been training and racing in Europe, consistently winning against some of Europe’s top young racers. He has participated in Italy’s CIV, placing second overall, and Hungary’s Ohvale 190 National Championship. Rossi earned pole position at the 2019 Ohvale World Championship and competed in the European Talent Cup on a pre-Moto3 Honda NSF250R for Mugenrace Snipers Junior Team as the youngest rider on the grid.

In addition, ForzaGP Snipers Junior Team will field 2019 Ohvale Talent Cup racer, Eli Banish, and European rising star, Kevin Farkas. The team, associated with the Moto3 Snipers Team, will aim to achieve the best possible result; to get all three riders within the top five against some of America’s top road racing talent.

Owner and founder of ForzaGP, Nathan Fitzgerald sees Rossi as the next American MotoGP star. “I’m so impressed with all the talent in the U.S. right now! There’s no better time for young racers to step onto the national stage. With MotoAmerica’s support and world class teams entering riders into the series, it’s ‘go time!’

In my opinion, Rossi Moor has been most impressive with the level of competition and results he’s already achieved at only 12 years old. He’s primed to progress very quickly with the support of ForzaGP, Stefano, and Snipers Junior Team. When I saw him race at the 2019 Talent Cup, I was stunned. Then, when I saw him race in Italy and gap the riders by two to three seconds in the first couple laps, I knew that he had something very special. I’m excited to support him on his journey to world class racing.”

“I am very happy and thankful for the collaboration with Nathan Fitzgerald of ForzaGP and Snipers Junior Team that has allowed our three riders to participate in the MotoAmerica Mini Cup by Motul” stated Stefano Favaro. “With my experience as manager and talent scout and the support from Nathan of ForzaGP, we can achieve our common goal of discovering and helping young American riders follow the path to MotoGP.”

Rossi Moor has been training hard and is ready to get started. Commenting on his recent sponsorship, “I’m honored and very happy to have full support from ForzaGP to help me participate in the MotoAmerica Mini Cup by Motul. I’m also very excited to race in both the 160cc and 190cc categories. It was a great race last year for me and I can’t wait to compete on the awesome Ohvale again.”

European talent Kevin Farkas is excited to race in the U.S for the first time. “For me it is the first time that I will race in the United States and I am very happy to be part of this team. I am very proud to have two teammates like Rossi and Eli. I believe we can achieve excellent results.”

As a returning rider to the national Ohvale series, Eli Banish looks to build on his results from last year and put his training with Snipers Junior Team into practice. “I’m very honored and excited to represent ForzaGP during the MotoAmerica Mini Cup by Motul series.  ForzaGP has put in a lot of hard work to bring mini racing here in the United States and make it available to a lot of people.  I’m looking forward to racing with them along with my fellow Snipers Junior Team teammates.”
