About Talent Cup

The MotoAmerica Talent Cup Championship assists America’s young road racers in reaching the highest level of the sport. As part of the official “Road To MotoGP™,” Talent Cup is a spec-racing class in which riders aged 14 to 23 compete on GP-style, purpose-built Krämer APX-350 MA motorcycles.

“Racing high-performance motorcycles provides our young riders with more opportunities and better prepares them to compete at higher levels on the Road to MotoGP™,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “The MotoAmerica Talent Cup is on the same performance level as other ‘Road to MotoGP™’ Talent Cups around the world.” As a side benefit, at the end of each season, up to five MotoAmerica Talent Cup riders are invited to participate in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup Selection Event.
