About Twins Cup

Putting lighter-weight, twin-cylinder motorcycles in the spotlight, the MotoAmerica Twins Cup Championship is a rapidly evolving race class that initially enabled regional and club racers from around the country to step up to the MotoAmerica series and compete on a national level. Now, along with that continuing mission, Twins Cup is a stepping stone for young riders who want to move up from the Talent Cup and don’t feel quite ready for Supersport or racing in Europe.

Twins Cup has increased in popularity since its inaugural season in 2018 due to the manufacturers introducing more and more of this category of motorcycles. Newer twin-cylinder models like the Aprilia RS 660, Yamaha YZF-R7, and Suzuki GSX-8R are the perfect choices for Twins Cup competition.
